I saw Hamid and assumed Howard.

Common mistake, especially when you're looking at a compressed roster tweet like that one.

Perry Kitchen is replacing orozco, which makes me happy as someone that isn't a huge fan of Orozco. Kitchen also scored 2 goals over the weekend

I guess I missed it but why is Rimando playing at all?

Surely we have some young keepers out there, including Brad that should be playing..

It's not a fifa protected international window, so clubs aren't required to release players.

Hes also a big lockerroom prescence. Read or saw something in the WC buildup that nick was one of the most respected guys in the squad. Klins seems to lean on those kinds of guys while bringing in youth/fringe players. Guessing thats why wondo gets so many call ups, has to be something other than, you know, on field play.

Yea, not looking to bash on this one.

Just curious since he's pretty damn old actually.

He's also pretty clearly our third best goalkeeper (or second if you exclude Howard).

If winning the Gold Cup is truly a priority for Jurgen, then it stands to reason that we may need Rimando and it would be good to get him some game experience against a big opponent. When was the last time he played in an actual competitive match for the US?

Maybe Jordan Morris and Miguel Ibarra are crucial to us winning the Gold Cup as well.
