I'd seriously research the legality of selling them for food or as pets before you go doing that. Lemonade stand might be a better option to keep the little man out of trouble.

Or just google "selling turtles in Louisiana", then click on the second suggested link which gives you the information on how to purchase a $25 license so you can sell wild-caught turtles.
