If you think attendance has been a problem this season, I think you're just misremembering how full games usually are. This weekend the threat of weather and the fact that Auburn isn't considered a good baseball team kept people away. But attendance was great for Ole Miss and Kentucky (except for Sunday because that game was at 11am), and I was honestly surprised at how good of a crowd there was for Kansas opening weekend considering it was Mardi Gras. And if we win next weekend in Georgia, the stage will be set for our first marquee home series of the year when aTm roles into town.

The actual attendance this year has definitely improved compared to last year, and it was mostly bad last year because we had bad luck with weather.

Over the last 4 or 5 seasons, the place is packed opening night and the first two Friday night SEC games .. Otherwise, it's very average .. Sunday games don't really draw well at all .. Lots of no shows ..

That's what I was thinking. I've looked up a few times and noticed SRO has 2-3 deep. I think attendance has been just fine this year. Auburn game had threat of not just rain but shitty weather all weekend. Frustrating trying to block off 5 hours for a game and have it delayed or rained out for hours. Just easier to plan to watch at home. I can't fault anybody for that.
