Sophisticated operations will never do so. They just want you gone and away.
Before pics are important.
A landlord has nothing to gain doing a final walk thru with you and much to lose if you badger them over everything. Including a physical altercation if they don't agree with you.
Take a lot of pics and submit with certified requests for deposit.
Stay in contact with the leasing office.

Cut your losses. They have no intention of giving you your full deposit back, and won't.
