Doesn't mean shite. Fact is that Tarantino is often celebrated as much for his musical selection in his movies as he is for direction.

When people discuss Tarantino movies, they discuss the movie. His soundtracks do a good job of adding to the atmosphere but the movies still stand on their own. Its next to impossible to discuss The Crow without talking about the soundtrack because the movie isn't anything special. The acting, directing, writing, etc are all average.

Not to mention Wes Anderson and Mark Mothersbaugh.
