My wife is an ADN here in Baton Rouge and we haven't heard anything about going to only BSN. Probably because the majority of the RN's there are ADN, they would have a very hard time filling positions. Especially with Our Lady of the Lake College in town, most went to the two year program there. The only downside at her hospital with out a BSN is that you could never be in any manager position. She works part time (two nights a week) and brings in roughly 40K. She could make a lot more if she picked up extra shifts if she wanted.
