Jawbone Jambox is pretty nice. I have the Big Jambox but it's $299. You can get the Mini Jambox for $129 and later on add another and play them as a pair.
I will caution you that pools tend to be noisy areas especially with kids and you may not be able to produce the volume level you want.

this is what I have. I had an issue with the volume being very low on it. I looked it up and was able to fix it with some button presses. It's loud as shite now
