Thing is, is that the NFL it self is incorporating more and more spread elements in their offenses so I don't see it as big an advantage as it use to be in preparing for the NFL

It's a trend to keep an eye on, but that's just another positive for the direction LSU is going in QB recruiting. Get a pocket QB with mobility... that QB could learn a spread offense pretty easily and has the skillset.

It's like knowing how to speak Latin and then learning any of the romance languages.
