I need to drop about 20 lbs before I start adding anything back on. I lost about 20 last summer on 90X but I had way more free time then than I do now. I'm just trying to figure out what is going to get the weight off and get me in the best position to build muscle after I get it off.

Honestly, I've been doing x3 for nearly the full 90 days now...2 weeks out from finishing round 1 currently. I haven't lost any weight yet and bounce around between + 3-5 pounds since I started. I have slimmed down and got quite a bit stronger than when I started, but I was also starting with next to no base strength anyway. I used to struggle just to do 5-10 push-ups at week 1. I know I've lost a good bit of fat doing this, but no weight. Results for someone with a better strength base may be completely different than someone like me though.

Your results will be 80% diet.
