Fowler and Williams are the only two worth moving for. If they were there at 5 and Washington would accept the two firsts, I would likely consider it.

It would be interesting to see the Saints draft board. Personally I have a large gap between Fowler/Williams and Shelton, who I have ranked third.

If we swap our two firsts for a #5 and Williams, thats something we all should support.

Williams yes, but not Fowler. IF this is true, then Williams is the target. Tenn will mot likely draft Mariota, and Fowler is a lock (if all indications are true) to Jax if he is on the board. That leaves Oak, who could be drafting Williams but more likely Cooper or White, and Williams will be there at 5. I can't see any other player we would be targeting for a trade up.

But I am in the choke me with barbed wire camp if we trade up for anyone

I am too lazy to do the research, but I'd like to know the difference between an elite and mediocre EDGE rusher. And how that really translates to Ws.

My quick survey is that the elite EDGE rushers average 11+ sacks a season. Take Von Miller this past year, his stat line is: 59-42-17-14.0 (tackles-solo-assist-sacks). I don't have any hurries info.

I really don't know what the average OLB Edge defender is worth, but I'd just guess 6-7 sacks a season. Are those +7 sacks (if you get an elite EDGE rusher, if) worth the investment of a top pick?

I'm not sure that could be justified for someone so one dimensional. How often do those guys drop in coverage? Contain the edge?

It just seems to me there are so few above the mean production, even fewer with elite status. The chances and production just are not worth the investment of a top 10 pick for this Saints squad.
