Because we like to run into the bank/cypress knees/boat docks/each other/etc.

A well built aluminum hull is more durable than a well built glass hull. Tis not debatable.

my biggest issue with the aluminum is you have to step up to 20' to get the .125 thickness. I would really like to stay in the 18' range.
