Albert was the f'n man!! Love his music. I never got to see him perform but always wanted to. Buddy and I did visit his grave in West Memphis, I've got a picture of it somewhere, I'll try to post later.

Perhaps not a direct quote, but it will do.
Albert King was a badass, no question. But also a giant prick. He would get humbled if he messed around with funk, traditional rock, even more R&B stuff, but for straight 12-bar blues players - improvisational, the classics, what have you - I'm not sure he had a peer.
