Well no damn wonder you are tired. If you're new to running there is no reason to be going at this pace.

Slow it down. Try running a couple miles at a 8:30-9 pace and see how you feel.

I'm new to running long distance, but I've been playing basketball for like 5 years regularly. I'm used to sprinting up and down the court, playing for 3 hours at a time. I'm honestly hoping running will get me into good enough shape to dunk because just being able to grab rim is disappointing when I feel as though I should be able to throw down.
