At what point have they made restitution for this event?
They used stockholders's money to pay fines. The decision makers did not pay any restitution.
I see this one like the immigration issue.
BP paid a 4 billion fine because the 11 people who died. It could be been manslaughter charges. No one went to prison. No one stood trial.
Same with the immigration issue. Companies are fined for having illegals working there. if the CEO went to jail for 2 years, we would not see repeat offenders.
I think BP public relations advertising is just aggravating a sore spot, because highly trained people keep finding more issues in the gulf. The tar mat looks like a real one.
You can't prove causality to me about Cat island and the mangroves.

Then your issue is with the courts and government. Not BP. For whatever reason, there hasn't been a criminal trial. That's not BPs fault. They've done what had been asked of them ( and more). But at some point everyone has to let go and move on. You don't have to forget, but move the frick on.
As for wanting it like it was before the spill, it ain't happening so tough shite. If BPs PR campaign hits a sore spot, so do the reports about ongoing damage by the environmentalists and bunny huggers. It is what it is, accept it, and get on with life.

What if 6 experts qualified in mangrove mortality opined that the mangroves were killed by Macondo oil?
