I know I will burn in the fiery pits of hell for suggesting this but... Crocs. Yes, they look hideous. You will be embarrassed to wear them in public.
I've had PF three times and all three times switching to Crocs cured it in a month or so. I am not proud to admit that, but by golly my feet sure felt a lot better.
