Based off how many customers go in for warranty work in a given time period. The best survey to go with is a 3 to 5 year because that's as long as most people keep their car.
Chrysler used to tout the "initial quality survey" which is worthless because it asked people in the first few months how they liked their car.... Hell you barely had time to break anything yet
