finally an intellectual response I can reply to hi5
You shouldn't have to be "polite" to a police offer to not get arrested. They are government employed and as we learned in school government is a system empowered by "the people" to protect "the people". I dont have to be nice to at&t but they still provide me service, as does comcast, waitresses, etc. A uniform does not exclude me from being able to speak at you unless it is breaking a law. This is a touchy subject with me because I experienced a similar situation last year in Lafayette.

You don't have to call him a racist, that's not really going to get you out of a $50 changing lanes violation on your cool scooter, Brian.
He was already arrested when he brought up race. They were putting him in handcuffs for his intimidating 6 foot size
He didn't do that until he was getting out in handcuffs. He had already told them to just give him the ticket

I find this situation interesting. I live in Miami and noticed the police were out in full force pulling people over all over Highway 95 on Sunday. The airport was even worse - there was massive harassment of anyone stopping for even a few seconds (no exaggeration) to pick up their family or friends - handing out tickets like candy - and this was beyond being reasonable and to me, appeared abusive.
My guess was that it was the end of the month and their a-hole quotas (performance standards) were not met - so they were looking to ticket anyone for anything.
So I understand this is a touchy situation when you're pulled over for something petty by a cop who then proceeds to act like an absolute bully - as I witnessed at the airport yesterday.

I'm not trying to attack you.
You're getting worked up over words from a stranger that aren't even insulting.
