I hope you are being sarcastic bc it is false.
The guy was mentally ill and crashed the plane. Outside of the US, the 2 person cockpit rule does not exist. So, the co-pilot was able to be alone and do the override lock on the door, preventing anybody from entering. The way they design those doors, not even a grenade can get through.

Maybe AA didn't get the memo, cause I see pilots leave the cockpit and then there is only one person flying or watching the autopilot
