Youth basketball options

There are a ton of local winter leagues..... Is there anything else available to kids too young for aau at other times of the year?

Yeah, basketball is over here too... They don't start aau until 4th grade.... My youngest son seems to really enjoy basketball. I was hoping there was a local, cheap option out there. I'd tell him to just shoot around in the driveway, but it's dirt and bumpy so....

I learned how to dribble on dirt. It really helped my handles as I got older.
