This alone suggests he had issues. Who typically travels with a handgun for protection. Who are you, Jesse James?

In many regards, alcohol is indeed worse. What i meant by regulated in the say way is it should be restricted from being sold to kids and people should not be allowed to operate heavy machinery or operate a vehicle on the roads when impaired. In my opinion anyone 21 and up should be able to walk into a store, buy it just like they would any other legal product and freely consume it at their home.

Ashamed to say I have something in common with Darth, but yeah, I carry as well.
I may or may not carry to states which think it is illegal to protect yourself as well.

I don't think it should be limited to their home. I was kinda surprised in Denver they don't have smoke bars similar to hookah lounges yet but I guess it's technically illegal to smoke, just isn't to buy.

You've learned that much in one month of being on TD?

This may the a topic of a spinoff thread but there's something I've been wondering about with legalized pot in places like Colorado. What happens if the feds decide down the road to start enforcing the federal laws against pot? As far as I know, it's still against Federal law, right? If that's the case all that it's going to take is for there to be an AG who decides to crack down on what's happening in Colorado and the other states that have followed Colorado's lead.

I meant more like who brings a gun on vacation.
"Hey guys we're going skiing."
"Great, let me grab my gun."
Seems weird to me.

I mean, if I'm driving to a vacation, I'm bringing my gun. I went to Baton Rouge and New Orleans last fall and brought my gun into the hotel room even

Learned all I needed to know in the pedophile thread.

It would probably seem equally insane to you that I don't swim in the ocean without a knife.
But I look too much like an elephant seal to trust a shark to distinguish between the two.

You may want to go check the update on that thread BTW.

I carry as well, but how many of you guys that carry would feel compelled to carry to Keystone resort in Colorado? That seems a little off. I know when I visit any resort in Colorado I feel pretty damn safe. It's not like your roaming the streets of Nola.
There have been links made in studies that if someone has dormant schizophrenia, and uses pot that the pot can help bring the schizophrenia to the surface. The pot didn't cause the schizophrenia but just brought it to the surface. I thinks that's probably what happened here but we are only talking about 1 to 2% of the population having an issue with schizophrenia that pot would make it active.

What happens if the feds decide down the road to start enforcing the federal laws against pot?
quote:Doubt it. They are making too much money that is being funneled back into the state. It's the best decision states have made in years. I will say that I think pot is the only illegal drug that should be legalized and regulated, or at least decriminalized. It has a lot more uses than to just smoke and get high.
