Huh? Who the frick knew of bergdahl before all this? No one, the army didn't seem too preoccupied with trying to get him back, after all it had been 5 years, and it was pretty clear by this point what he had done.

Did you know his name before the prisoner swap though? I am military and sure as hell didn't. So what backlash are you talking about? People can't be too frustrated about stuff that they know nothing about.

I don't know where you were posted when Bergdahl disappeared, but it was pretty big news here. I certainly knew his name long before the prisoner trade.
