I use 30# tanks and never have any issues - for 90-100lbs you should only need 2 boils if you have at least an 80qt pot - your flow will be a lot greater with the high pressure valve and I like to keep back pressure from the tank high for as long as possible. If you use the small exchange tanks I would keep a couple handy but 1 should work.

well I just realized that I don't have the piece that will connect the new regulator to the actual propane tank
do they have those at the hardware store?
