Creating an LLC or Just Getting A Contractors License

I'm about to start a commercial tile & grout cleaning business and want to know if it would be wiser to create an LLC or to just get a contractors license. I live in Florida now and want to know what steps to take. I will have an attorney eventually look over my paperwork and use quick books software to keep all my records. I'm working on my business plan now to calculate all of my business expenses. Is there anything else you guys can advise me on to dot my i's and cross my t's?

Always form an LLC.
ALWAYS.
ALWAYS.

You need both, one isn't a substitute for the other.

Grout Medic? I know someone who bought one of their territories and has done very well with it. Ended up opening another company doing tiling and bathrooms because so many customers requested it.

Form an LLC now. You can protect yourself in an industry where getting sued is probably not out of the ordinary at all. Make sure you have a business credit card and business checking account. Do not "pierce the veil", keep bidness and personal separate.
