North Louisiana might as well be non-existent.
As a matter of fact, if it wasn't for LSU, anywhere outside of New Orleans is pretty forgettable.

Has Shreveport or Monroe become a bastion of creativity, culture, and entertainment? Or rather, would 100% of the global population still prefer to find themselves in Venice, Louisiana on a Tuesday night rather than in your "cities" during a festival?

lived in lafayette 2 years . loved the culture in general. loved the food. coached a baseball team that learned not to cuss in my presence by running the entire practice. by the 3rd practice they caught on. north la women are by far prettier on average, and its not close. it was hard even finding one "pretty" lady there. BUT, the people were great, food was great, culture was great, but i would never raise kids there.
