I didn't feel the laser (you can smell it) but when they put the suction cup on your eyeball I swear they about popped it out. Maybe I was just too squeamish. But it was way more than the "light discomfort " they said. It was only about 10 seconds on each eye. I would definitely do it again

I don't think the valium did anything for me. They told me I was to calm beforehand that it may not have much of an effect
