TBDL season Long Thread

I will be giving out a maximum of 5 baseballs for pitching and 5 for hitting, with a final judgement of contender, pretender, or meh if you have a middling team. Teams are in no special order
Figured this could be the season long thread too, since everyone is always searching to post draft rankings to throw in my face.
-------------------------
Crafty Lefties
Pitching:
Had to give Rouge two balls just for having Kershaw. Sonny Gray is a decent enough SP2, but will probably regress some. All reports indicate that Cain looks good, so he could be a solid SP3 as well. Wont get many saves out the pen, but he has some nice upside arms. Sanchez and Boxberger could end up with closer roles if things go right.
Hitting:
Rouge has 4 really nice hitters and a few decent hitters outside of that. His main concern should be what Utley and Beltran can bring this year in their advanced age and can they stay healthy? Pence is out for a bit, so that will hamstring him as well. He should compete most weeks, but the old/injury proneness of his hitters kept him from getting 3 baseballs.
Season Prediction: Pretender
--------------------
Invisible Scratch Picklez
Pitching:
If not for the bullpen, I wouldve gave his pitching 1 baseball, I think. I dislike Cashner, Duffy, and Kazmir a ton. They could be OK, I just cant fap to them. Pineda could be decent. Sale is an ace, of course, but who knows what happens with this foot injury. If he's done then we are in trouble here. I do like Eovaldi as my sleeper pitcher this season, and Holland/Betances are dual action flame coming out of rondo's pen. They should make up for an otherwise pedestrian K/9 staff.
Hitting:
Finally, something to fap to. I wanted to go full 5 balls, but Khris Davis and Fowler as 2/3 OFs just makes me a bit ill. Otherwise, I can get behind most of the offense here. Id estimate there are 5 or 6 top 5 guys at their respective positions. Moss and Reddick can provide some pop on the backend. Some of the hitting will be weakened when rondo has to trade for some starting pitching, i believe.
Season Prediction: Contender
--------------------
Hot Stove
Pitching:
Hot Stove has 3 perennial aces, though Wainwright is worrisome. Not huge of Shoemaker, per se, but as a SP4 you could do way worse. 2 decent enough closers who can get you saves doesnt hurt, though i would not be surprised if neither had a job come the ASB. Jansen will help when he comes back. All in all, pretty balanced staff.
Hitting:
Not many holes in the lineup here. Love the OF with Trout, Ozuna, and Harper. The INF wont blow you away, but it's pieced together nicely as far as filling out cats on a weekly basis goes. Granderson and Morneau are nice UTIL players as you know what you will get from them. Nice depth, too.

High Jew Elf
Pitching:
Actually not too bad of a staff for Jew Elf depending on Tanaka's health. He has a lot of young fire that could compete week to week if all goes right.
Hitting:
Jew has some nice hitters, but a lot of them are young. I cant count on them this season, but they should be good in the years to come. He will be sneaky some weeks, though.
Season Prediction: Pretender
--------------------
Drunken Clams
Pitching:
Clams sports a deep, solid staff top to bottom. He goes 5 strong with a few SP bullets on the bench. Two closers who should rack up saves and Ks with a possible 3rd. If he manages his staff correctly, he will be tough to beat here.
Hitting:
Nice "Big 3" with Cutch, Jones, and Prince. Santana is solid as they come and is C eli. People are raving about Rusney, so that's good. Not totally buying on him just yet. Leonys Martin is my sleeper hitter this year. Dont know if Arismendy will get enough PT to be viable, but we will see. All in all, Clams has all the cats covered on his team. He will be tough.
Season Prediction: Contender
--------------------
Lou T
Pitching:
Wood, Carasco, Cole are a nice trio, with Teheran as a Sp4 for me. I will take it. Not too flashy, but can get the job done along with 2 guys who will get saves. Depth is shaky, though.
Hitting:
Couldve probably went 5 balls on Lou, but he is probably right up there with the other top hitting clubs. Solid from top to bottom with no holes other than SB. If Puig and Soler can break out, then look out. He could have 5 or 6 top 5 players.
Season Prediction: Contender
-------------------
cwill
Pitching:
Another team with 3 solid starters and 2 ho hum closers. Should compete week to week. Like Arrieta a lot of a SP3, and King and Zimmerman should do their thangs. He has some vets to add depth but not much upside there.
Hitting:
Decent, well balanced lineup. Stanton is the stud here, and Mesoraco could be the top player at his position. Desmond, Freeman, and Machado all could be top 5. Can Heyward breakout in STL? His lineup could teter both ways depending on what Heyward decides to do.
Season Prediction: Meh
--------------------
Big Redd Machine
Pitching:
If I had an ace to go with these SP2s and SP3s, then I would feel a whole lot better. His 5 starters are all literally "which guy are you going to get this season" type pitchers. Even still, should be enough to compete most weeks. Not much coming from the pen other than Street. Reminds me of rondo's team a bit.
Hitting:
A lot of veteran hitters on Redd's team except for D"Arnaud and Rizzo. With age, health always becomes an issue. We will just assume all are healthy. Beltre is the only hitter who has shown some regression, and even still, he was good. Position flexibility worries me with 3 key hitters all being 1B. VMart and Ellsbury already nicked. Regression and injury aside, this team should be able to swing it week after week.

Good breakdown.
KRod faltered 2nd half last year so he seems a little shaky to me as well.
Baltimore's provided a very closer friendly environment the past 3 years. Britton was solid last yr & seems safe for 40 sv. Hopefully he can up his k-rate a bit but I guess that's drawback to a sinker pitcher.
