The "greatest... of all time" obsession that seems so prevelant especially in hip hop/rap is mind numbingly stupid. It drives me frickin bonkers, and it has no place in intelligent conversation about music or other forms of art.

While the thought of naming something the "absolute best ever #1" can sound silly, the arguments it creates are usually great reads.

it's in everything. Can we just appreciate that Tom Brady is great with out debating is he the GOAT? If Kentucky wins the NCAA and goes 40-0 someone will ask are they the GOAT? It's just ridiculous.
