These types of threads are always interesting.

Reading them with a non-prejudicial eye, it is hard not to come away without a poor impression of those that don't believe.
They always sound so bitter and antagonistic. They lack the grace to tolerate those that believe in God, yet they are the ones that say all believers are intolerant.

I see it more as a mental impasse than intolerance.

FWIW - I am generally not the prayer type... but I am the type to spend alone time thinking on things. If somebody can get past the impasse - They may think on the other person's advice differently.

If thats what youre reading then youre definitely not being non prejudicial

I havent degraded prayer for what it is, a form of meditation or reflection. But if youre looking for a practical solution to a problem you have already spent a good deal of time considering, its not going to produce a solution. I'm not here saying what is or isnt real, im not that arrogant. But if youre seeking counsel for practical advice, telling someone to go meditate is insulting. Just say you wish you could help, as someone suggested
