I said 6 weeks ago, NIT would be good for them. They need the practice time. They will probably get to host the regular season champ, loser of a teeny conference tourney, maybe La Tech or Murray St. LSU can win a couple of games at home and improve some fundamentals. Or they can be dumped by the teeny runner-up and be humbled. Either way, it can be a teachable moment.
They should all come back and work on their games. They will find that out when they host a teeny conf. runner-up.

Practice time for what? The heart of next year's roster is on the team yet. What would they be practicing for? Plus, after four months of the same constant stupid mistakes do you think 1-2 weeks of further practice will change anything?
