love it when they hit on a WTF outta nowhere pick.

hate it when it seems like ya used a 5th Rd pick on a guy that could have just as easily been a UDFA

Do not discount the team turnover cuz of some fresh front office approach also. There is a personality you usually attribute to a championship team. The 2009 Saints had some pot stirrers in Shockey & Hargrove but it was ripe with primed veterans- Vilma, Sharper, Fujita, Brees, etc. I think they examined the makeup & personality of the current roster and determined this ain't gon get it.

You can always 20/20 a draft looking back. It is fair to look at what next selected DBs after CW at #162 have done-

#167 he Cincinnati Enquirer's Paul Dehner calls Bengals FS George Iloka one of the "best young cover safeties" in the league.
After playing 96.7 percent of the snaps in 2013, Iloka again started every game this past season and missed just 12 snaps. Among 59 safeties who played at least 50 percent of his team's snaps, Iloka was No. 1 in passer rating against him, allowing a QB rating of 18.4. Teammate SS Reggie Nelson was fourth on the list. Iloka is entering the final year of his deal and a candidate for an extension. Feb 6 - 11:43 AM

#169 Asa Jackson- has stuck on Ravens roster as a backup

#172 Jeremy Lane- I wanted him that draft. From Northwestern La., solid slot guy for Seattle

#174 Keith Tandy- stuck in TB but still on the roster

#176 Mike Harris- backup with Giants

#177 Justin Bethel AZ- increasing snaps each year, Pro Bowl for special teams in 2013

Maybe less project types going forward?
