The #1 flaw with college basketball, right here. It's a sport where a 7 and 8 seed can play for the national title. Their seeding means they were ranked between 25-32, which means the entire regular season is a glorified exhibition.

Theoretically, Penn State can still make the tournament this year. They were horrendous all season but if they get hot and win 5 games in March, they can suddenly be playing in a tournament to determine a national champion?
