I'd rather USC win for LSU's chances. That would put another bubble team behind LSU regardless of what LSU does in the tournament. Rooting for Oklahoma over Ok St., Notre Dame over Miami, USC over Ole Miss, and Butler over Xavier (doesn't matter much) right now.

The difference is that Ole Miss losing also hurts LSU's overall resume as well. LSU did not play OSU, Miami, Xavier. Two of LSU's good wins are against Ole Miss. If they lose, then those 2 wins don't look as good.

At this points a few spots in Rpi won't matter. A fellow bubble team who must experts have behind us losing means they can't pass us no matter what we do. that is much more important than a few spots in Rpi and no the committee does not look at a win over 49 as much more of a quality win that if they are 54
