1)Even if it's 30 degrees, if you're walking the whole time you will sweat like crazy
2)If there are any briars at all, you're asking for trouble with the neoprene.
Muck boots are great for some things. This is not one of them. I have a pair of thin vinyl boots I got 5 bucks from cabelas bargain cave for this exact purpose.
