The first year I did it, it was a helluva project. This is the 3rd year, so now it's just little tweaks to improve things. One good thing about the project, it helped me showcase my excel skills across the company. Now I'm known as the excel guru.

I think I've found a good website to do a web query to get the scores. I'm testing it out with the SEC tourney, and day 1 worked good. I will have the web query auto-refresh every minute. The next step is figuring out how to have the excel file auto-save every few minutes. The plan is to leave the file open with auto-refresh/auto-save to my dropbox folder. Then give out the dropbox link to everyone to be able to view current standings. Last year I would manually enter the scores and save to dropbox, so if I didn't have access to the file for a while, then the standings wouldn't get updated right after a game ended.
