What the masses have done to this boy is disgusting. Sure he should have been reprimanded and deserved being kicked out of the university. But something is really wrong with all of you getting enjoyment out of this kids ruined life. If you get enjoyment out of this I hope someone documents you at your worst and uses it to it ruin your life even if it is a 11 second snapshot judgement upon your entire existence.

Seriously empathy and compassion is the only thing that can heal. All of this social justice will only divide and cause more violence and destruction. What's wrong with everyone in this thread?

I should note that I personally get no joy out of this. I'm personally okay with the university decision, because a hard lesson will be taught to those boys. However, I think a learning opportunity was lost here. The president could have dismantled the frat, suspended the kids, yet had them face a jury of his peers, meaning the black student union and others that they offended.

What happened here is what has happened far too often in our "racial history"; instead of dealing with the problem, we run from it. The door to discourse was closed. So how is this kid supposed to learn from this when he runs back to his homogenous enclave in southlake, carroll?

I would have made him stay on campus, (ensure their security), but have them face the music. The only way they will see/feel the damage they have done is to see it in the eyes of others. I highly doubt they will get that in their family environments.

Yep. Young kids, both white and black, sing and yell lyrics to rap music. These songs contain lyrics about shooting and killing people, selling drugs and treating women as objects, calling the bitches and hoes. Not to mention N***** every other line.

Does this make these kids drug dealing, racist, murdering, womanizers? Or are they just repeating what they've heard to fit in?

What these people did isn't right, but people are overreacting. Protests over this shite.........get fricking real. Protest about something that is actually hurting people.
