Interesting for the corner market and Revis

quote:

The Boston Herald reports the Patriots are allowing CB Brandon Browner to "explore his value around the league." Monday is the deadline for the Pats to exercise Browner's $1.9 million team option. If they do, Browner then takes home a $2 million roster bonus on Tuesday. He'd come with a $4.8 million cap number for 2015, something the Pats want to reduce. It sounds like they'll cut him loose absent a reduction. Cutting Browner would be a sign the Pats are planning for Darrelle Revis to return for a second season in New England.

I'd imagine he'd have a pretty good market if this happens

I wonder if it's possible he lands back in Seattle...

Byron Maxwell is gone and their nickel cornerback (forgot his name) had that gruesome arm injury in the Super Bowl. He may not be ready for the beginning of the season.

He's welcome back in Calgary any time he wants. I usually pull for him wherever he goes.

Cut Browner to re-sign Revis?

No brainer.

Browner missed the first 6 or 7 weeks of the season and still was 2nd in the NFL in penalties the way the refs are strictly enforcing the DB-WR contact rule, Browner will consistently be at the top of the league in DB penalties due to the fact that his best asset is his physical play.
