Assuming this is true then last year, AJ "distanced" himself from BH despite being the one of the most incompetent QBs in all of college football.

Anybody who watched the spring game and then the season knew that Jennings did what was asked of him, even if he had bad accuracy and a weak arm. Harris did not. I remember specifically about Miles talking about his "style of play" in the spring game was not right. In the spring game, after his first read wasnt there, he took off or threw it away. During the season, not knowing the plays, signals, not getting guys in and out of the huddle fast, etc.

All that can be taken care of in the offseason.

And before anybody brings up Miss St, Jennings did the same exact thing against Arkansas. Before anybody brings up NMST, yes, Jennings played about as awful as you can to start off a game, yet Harris looked great. That one game allowed him to audition against Auburn, who had a terrible secondary, and zero pass rush (Auburn people will tell you the same).

All things being equal, you had two bad QBs last year, one knew the plays and how the offense was ran, and one didn't. As soon as Harris can learn how to do things (I mean he was a true freshman switching from spread to a pro style offense), he will no doubt be the starter.

Granted Auburn wasn't up to snuff but it still was an SEC game on the road for the kids first start, early in the season. My only problem is that he never got a second chance to get meaningful snaps throughout the season. Now we are in the same place as last year. He is still "green" as far as game situations go. If not, it's the coaches fault, they've had a year to prepare this kid. My only problem is that Les will stick with one QB no matter what, except when a National Championship is on the line (Lee/Jefferson)
