Nice post, but plan A was for Gray to drive INTO the lane and either shoot or dish.

Yea, the OP is way over-analyzing the last play. It was a clear out for Gray to penetrate and shoot or dish.

Gray waited WAY too long to initiate. We should get a shot up with 5 seconds left to give us a chance at the put back. That didn't happen.

Gray got very lucky finding Hornsby in the corner. Gray jumped and then you saw him hang in the air a split second looking for who to pass to. He found Hornsby.

Hornsby bailed us out, but I thought the last play was poorly executed.

No, tie game on the road you want one shot to win the game with worst case being OT. Shooting with 5 secs left gives Ark a shot to get off a game winner. Maybe Gray should have started his move 1 second earlier at most, but thats even pushing it.

This was part of the play design setup to have two shooters in the corners. I guarantee you that was the exact spot Hornsby was supposed to be in after Gray's move. Gray probably shouldn't have left his feet, but in the end he made the right decision and a good pass.

No, again I guarantee you Hornsby shooting that shot from that spot was an option on the play.
