Haven't heard this. They use autistic as a adjective at the Autism Society Clinic. Like I said my son is very low on the spectrum. He's not involved in activities with "people with autism". Heck, the Autism Society Clinic we had him examined at couldn't differentiate most symptoms between ADD and Autism since they broadened the spectrum to include much of the ADD symptoms.

Yup, its a new thing but apparently it pisses people off, its like calling a person with down syndrome a retard. I have had more than one person correct me when I have said it. Their logic is you can't say "my son is autistic" because by doing so you would be saying that is what defines him as a person so you are supposed to say "my son is a person with autism". I know, its dumb, but it really is a big deal to a lot of people and they aren't even all SJWs.
