You could have done your rotors and pads for a couple hundred bucks at Auto Zone and a Saturday afternoon.

Shite, I've performed the following myself for less than $1600 total cost. All over the last 5 years
2007 camry CV axle assembly (with bearing) ($200)
2004 Sequoia Fuel Pump ($400)
07 camry A/C compressor ($205)
camry brakes and rotors ($200)
Grand Prix Power steering pump ($50)
Grand Prix side mirror ($110)
Grand Prix coolant elbow pipe ($5)
Grand Prix Alternator ($150)
I have moderate to noobish mechanic skills but that damn Youtube is a mothertruckin blessing!!!
