I can fuss at my Frenchie and she crumbles. No problem with her.
I've whipped the GS, Labs, and the shiteater with a piece of 3/4" PVC pipe once each. I've never had a problem with the dogs since their arse whipping(s). Say what you will , but corporal punishment works.

My Frenchie is the exact same. It doesn't take much at all. My Ridgeback used to require a little more than that but he's coming around to just the verbal stuff.

whipping a dog with PVC pipe is messed up. I'd like to beat you with a PVC pipe.

That's exactly how my German Shepherd is. I just tell him to go under the kitchen table. That's his punishment spot.
