I had fun at Versailles. It was near the end of our backpacking trip and we just took naps in the shade by the lake. Didn't even go inside.

We did the palace grounds on an off day (Monday I think). We didn't really want to go inside, so we had the gardens and the whole area basically to ourselves. It was great.
