Hmmm... Go to Mizzou and have no money left over for grad school, go to Wash U and be in massive debt, go to St. Louis U and be in deep debt, or go to LSU for free and be able to pay for grad school... Hmmmm...
That was my dilemma. Free school won. Would imagine it's the same for Texas kids.

Whole family is from Louisiana and I was born here but moved to Houston when I was 3. So I grew up in Houston but always wanted to go to LSU.
I graduated in the top 10% of my class from high school, so I was automatically accepted to UT or aTm. Neither school offered me any scholarship money, LSU offered me pretty close to a full ride. I chose LSU for costs, plus it was already my dream school for as long as I can remember.
I've graduated and still live in Baton Rouge, don't regret my decision at all.

How did you get free from living in Missouri?
Nephews finished at John Burroughs. One just finished Tufts, other at Wash U. They grew up in Kirkwood. Cool place.
Mine want to go from BR to UT. Trying to figure out how.
