Have you decided on what your blinds will be? I suggest if 1-2 N/L, $200 max buy in, $50 min. Maybe one short buy.There are reasons to have a minimum.
Straddles create action but don't allow unless most want it. Game will run smoother with 1 dealer.

Yeah...another thing is how you separate your chips. How many different colors do you have? If most are buying in at $100 (which seems to be the case) then I would go .50/1 blinds. Then have .50/1/5 chips...or .25/.50/1/5 chips. You can also do .25/.50 blinds if you have 4 colors.
It's just a friendly game, so doing it either way should not be a huge deal. How long you usually play for is another factor. If you want a game that last 2-3 hours, I would go .50 chips as your lowest with .50/1 blinds. If you want a game that last 5-6 hours then .25/.50 will keep everyone around longer.
