City get shite from just about everyone over here about their fans or lack there off and thats why the sponsorship deals and stadium expansion are a farce.

They might grow a fan base around the world but that fan base isn't contributing the the major factor of match day revenue.

It would take a whole generation of kids in england liking city and city being really good winning something for somewhat of a base to develop. Problem is thats not happening people are to tribalistic over here. Greater Manchester alone is overwhelmingly red.

I definitely agree. I watch almost all of City's games and it's a totally different (quiet) atmosphere in the Etihad, unless someone scores or there's a bad foul, than it is it seems during any other match regarding other teams.

I'm assuming that's just the fan base just not being vocal? I like to think it's like Jerry World and the acoustics just suck, but that's being optimistic.
