That implies that the person was able to even think of something else at the time of their suicide. You are making assumptions about several things... several things I'm not confident you have educated yourself on.

When you're going through hell on earth? YEs, yes I do. But I think it's the cowardly and easy way out rather than to pull yourself up and seek help.

I believe they can. It's been reported that on the day that many people commit suicide they seem more cheerful to others than they have been. That's because they're going for the quick fix and they're relieved.

Also people that commit suicide often think they are doing their loved ones a favor because they believe they are a burden to their loved ones. So its not necessarily selfish in their improperly functioning brains.
