re: What was the count on Warren Morris walk off

I was in an elevator at the Hampton Inn on Constitution when he hit the HR. I was going to pick up my girlfriend who was in town from Dallas.
I watched till the 8th, hustled to the Hampton and caught the top of the 9th in the lobby with a crowd of folks.

After Lanier struck out, I was too anxious and went to her room.

When I got to her room, she was watching a rerun of Benson (no shite). I asked her to flip over to the game. Dog pile, LSU champ. Cora boo hooing.

I missed the biggest play in LSU baseball history but we did pop down the road for a quick dinner at the Applebee's, which was delightful.
