re: House of Cards: Full Season Discussion (WITH SPOILERS)

Pretty much agree with a lot of what I'm reading in here. I still enjoyed watching this season, but it felt way off. Almost like a completely different show.

They had way too many stupid subplots that ended up being meaningless. I actually love Stamper but to have him mope around for an entire season? Why was the Rachel thing drug out until the finale? Does anyone actually give a shite about Remy and Jackie? Even Frank didn't feel like the same character. He was shockingly inept the entire season and way behind his opponents. And Claire. I've always disliked her, but she took it to an all new level. I can't tell if the writers actually believe in the BS she spouts or if they know she's an actual idiot. The whole thing with her and the gay guy in Russia was dreadful.

Netflix is lucky they have the binge model because a lot of people would have bailed on this season if it was week by week.
