Everything that happened this season could have spanned the first three episodes really.
I would have rather this been the final season with the events of season three condensed and then have the final 2/3 of the season be "the fall" than have a boring, static third season with "the fall" stretched out for season four.
One great season >>>>>>> one boring season and one drawn out season.

I'd say more than three episodes, but the first 5 could easily have had all the same story elements. Then we see if Frank wins (and he will).
