in the older days the matches were more of a worked shoot. which is still common in japan today.

basically the match is fixed but many moves are real.

I forgot to mention farmer burns.

so it hasn't always been a goof or complete goof.

im talking pre ww2 of course.

umm... many of the moves today are still real.

you can't fake diving off a turnbuckle into a table.

that doesnt change that its always been "fake" so far as being a legit sport goes.

so yea, its always been a goof.
